Home
Home may sound austere but home is not just a four letter word. It is something that can mean a lot. People can define it in many ways and in many forms. For me, there's no place I'd rather be when I'm with my family. Home is family because it is there whenever I need it. A big part of my life and culture is from my family. No matter what struggle in life I encounter, I am still optimistic that my family will be there to support me.
Love, mercy, compassion, and God are the most important aspects of my family. Unconditional love is shown to me by my family because they are bighearted. As a human, I can't deny the fact that I commit mistakes. Mistakes that I am aware of and mistakes that are unintended. My family always show their mercy by guiding and supporting me whenever I commit these mistakes. For instance, having low grades. I know, without doubt that my family will motivate and empower me to strive harder and put more effort to my work. Also, everytime I feel low, my family empathizes with me so that I will not forget how important my life is. God is also a big part of my family. He gives everything we have. And we know that He will never fail to guide and protect us from evil.
Arguments and misunderstandings are some of the things that may cause wreckage. I know that they are unavoidable but I am sure they are conquerable. My family makes a stronger bond by overcoming these tests. I keep my cool in order to lessen any arguments and misunderstandings. Putting aside pride, I try my best to listen and hear out all parties; so that peace and unity can be achieved within my family. Being open and giving chances is also practiced by my family because this keeps the balance within.
Storms will try to break my home. But I know that my family will hold on. Made stronger by love, mercy, compassion and God. Ingredients that make the sturdiest bond on Earth. I am thankful for what I have. Especially for my family who is always their for me. What do you think of "home"?
